Senior full-stack engineer.
Number two on a small team building a generation platform that ships small business websites at editorial quality. You'll work alongside the founder on the pipeline that takes a customer's brief and produces a complete, working site — architecture, copy, type, photographs, layout. Seniormeans you've done this kind of work before, you have your own opinions about how to do it well, and you can hold up your end when the work is hard.
Stack is TypeScript end-to-end (Node/Express on the API, React on the studio), Postgres, queue-driven workers, modern cloud infrastructure. You don't need to know any of that going in — you need to be the kind of engineer who picks up a stack and gets useful in two weeks.
- Looking for — someone who's been senior in a small team before, has shipped to real customers, and prefers craft to process.
- Working style — written-first, async-comfortable, calm. Quality over speed, always.
- Not for you if — you want a 200-person org with predictable career ladders, or you build for the recruiter, not the customer.
